Hello friends. Festival “Visagino Country 2011“ is comin‘ and we want to present you the program and one of the debuting group from Lithuania.

MAG'Grass

The band “MAG'Grass” was created in 2010 by four famous musicians from different bands, well known in Lithuania and abroad. Polyphonic music was the thing that brought them all together. “MAG'Grass” plays American Folk, Country and Bluegrass music. The band members performed in a lot of festivals all over the world.

Rima Jočienė - in 1995 were recognized as the best Lithuanian Country Singer by Lithuanian Country Music Association.

Aleksandr Belkin and Alius Sirgėtas - in 1999 together with Algirdas Klova & “CBSB” took the second place in the International Country Music Contest in Mrągowo (Poland).

ALEKSANDR BELKIN - vocal, acoustic guitar, harmonica;

RIMA JOČIENĖ - vocal, mandolin, fiddle;

GRAŽINA DEIČKO - vocal, fiddle, mandolin;

ALIUS SIRGĖTAS - banjo, vocal.

ALGIRDAS KLOVA (fiddle) - the president of honor of LCMA, the member of EWOB in Lithuania, European bluegrass pioneer will perform in this program together with the band.
